The Copyright Fund has allocated MK161 million to 18 creative projects and institutions, marking its fifth funding cycle. Chairperson Robert Kapyepye announced the recipients, emphasizing the projects' potential for both local impact and international visibility, thereby elevating Malawi's creative sector globally.
Notably, Theresa Phondo received the largest grant of MK14,091,600, while Dennis Kumwenda received the smallest at MK5,000,000. Among other beneficiaries include Sustainable Cape Ma Clear, Che Mandota, Dan Lufani, and Shafiq Kalumo Phiri.

Agreement signing is slated for completion by next week's end, with an initial 20% fund disbursement upon signing.
